01 - The Idea
A shoe as a silent witness.
Built on the AJ1 silhouette - the original Nike icon of rebellion - Deserter re-frames the shoe as a relic of a war that never ended. Vintage skin, heat-pressed pattern, embroidered ruin imagery.
The idea was to look at how relics of something devastating - war, collapse, ruin - get absorbed by culture. Reprocessed. Turned into objects you can wear, carry, put on your feet.
